Flowphonics backed by TVI

Scottish technology business Flowphonics was supported at every stage by TVI as it started up and was acquired by a US listed company within less than a year.

Flowphonics needed support and seed funding to get its digital rights management and distribution business on its feet.

TVI stepped in with support, advice and financial support through the transition period.

Within 10 months of start-up, the company was acquired by New Jersey based arbinet-thexchange Inc.

Arbinet, which is listed on NASDAQ, provides a trading exchange platform for more than 700 telecoms operators, including the world’s top 10, and is extending its activity into digital and mobile content.

For Flowphonics – now re-branded as Broad Street Digital – the deal meant that it could access global markets from a much stronger position.
